Amazon Celebrates 10 years of its AWS Imagine Nonprofits Conference

On March 19, 2026, Amazon Corporation held its 10th annual AWS Imagine Nonprofits Conference at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Baltimore, Maryland.

Amazon Web Services Imagine Nonprofits brings together many national companies each year that provide resources or services aimed at benefiting and increasing business and profits, in conjunction with nonprofit representatives.

The goal is to network, improve what is working, and potentially make things work better.

The gathering brought together inspiring individuals who shared testimonies with conviction and passion about autism, cancer, domestic violence, and veteran concerns.

Award-winning musician John Legend was the main attraction, serving as this year's Fireside Chat speaker for attendees.

Mr. Legend’s life has been impacted by the criminal justice system. His family, friends, and almost his entire neighborhood experienced the school-to-prison pipeline reality.

In 2014, Mr. Legend established his nonprofit, Free America. Its main focus is assisting and providing services related to mass incarceration and criminal justice reform.

The mission and goal are to invest in positive actions within our communities, offering tools and opportunities to individuals that will help create a better world.

Amazon seeks to empower many nonprofits serving diverse needs across numerous

communities.

This event also had another purpose: March 19 marked the launch date for all national nonprofits to submit applications for Amazon grant funding.
