Once I left the ferry, I found the spa quickly and spent the day relaxing, wandering in wellness, an enjoying an entire day living my best escape from reality on Governors Island. Here are some not-to-be-missed experiences that are more than worth the trip.
The Dream Room is a waterbed sensory experience ideal after steaming and sauna hopping. The entire Aqua-healing experience, from the Tide Room foot bath, the Cascading Waterfall, and the Rain Room of Vichy Rain as you lay on a marble bed, is a water lover's dream.
For a bit of red light therapy, don’t miss the Ray Room, where you can melt into a reclining position on a bed of infrared deep head therapy. Lastly, the heat from the Mountain Sauna will purge you; it includes a mini scrub and aria-scented towels.
To end the experience, walk over to explore the Alchemy Room and let your nose lead you through delicious scents that open and may even surprise your senses.
